1. In a Yari jigger Sueños Añejo, Lo-Fi Gentian Amaro and add bitters

The Alchemist is a spirit forward cocktail that pairs perfectly with Sueños Añejo. Similar to a classic Manhattan, few ingredients create a perfectly complex cocktail. In place of sweet vermouth (manhattan recipe) I used Lo-Fi Gentian Amaro – for an Amaro it’s floral and bright which beautifully compliments Sueños Añejo. For bitters I used cardamom bitters to bring out more florality and citrus notes, as well as mole bitters to pair with the deeper chocolate notes of the añejo. This cocktail was created to highlight the complex flavors of Sueños Añejo by using a small amount of complementary ingredients which results in a perfect fusion that is delicate, medium bodied and sophisticated. For the presentation I chose skeleton leaves, dehydrated citrus with a mini skeleton key. The key represents a key to one of our treasures.
